Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups freshly milled whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
  4. Stir the wet ingredients into the flour mixture until a dough forms.
  5. Roll the dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter evenly on top.
  6. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over the buttered dough.
  7. Roll up the dough tightly and slice into 12 equal rolls.
  8. Place rolls in a baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
