This Strawberry Pretzel Salad is a crowd-pleaser with its delicious layers of pretzel, cream cheese, and fresh strawberries. Its easy preparation makes it ideal for any gathering.

- 2 cups small salted pretzels (crushed)
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup salted butter (melted)
- 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream
- 6 oz strawberry flavored gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 lb fresh strawberries (sliced)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and gather all ingredients.
- Pulse pretzels and brown sugar in a food processor until combined but still chunky.
- Add melted butter to the pretzel mixture and pulse until evenly moistened.
- Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom of a parchment-lined 8×8 baking dish, and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour heavy cream into the cream cheese mixture and beat until fully combined. Spread this over the cooled pretzel crust and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Dissolve strawberry gelatin powder in boiling water; refrigerate for about 30 minutes until thickened.
- Fold in sliced strawberries into the thickened gelatin and pour evenly over the cream cheese layer. Chill for 2 to 4 hours until set.
- Slice and serve chilled.
Notes
Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing.
For a quicker set, place the gelatin mixture in the refrigerator but keep an eye on its consistency.
Feel free to substitute other fruit in place of strawberries!
