Description

This Matcha Chia Pudding combines smooth yogurt, chia seeds, and the rich taste of matcha for a scrumptious, healthy breakfast. Quick to prepare and packed with flavor, it’s perfect for anyone looking for a homemade treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds (use 4 tablespoons for a thicker consistency)
  • 1 teaspoons matcha powder (sifted)
  • 23 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the matcha powder and Greek yogurt, whisking until smooth and free of lumps.
  2. Add the maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt; mix well.
  3. Stir in the milk and chia seeds until the mixture is well combined.
  4. Allow the mixture to sit for 5 minutes, then stir again to avoid clumping.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight until thickened.
  6. When serving, give it a stir and add any desired toppings.

Notes

For a thicker pudding, increase chia seeds to 4 tablespoons.
This pudding can be prepared the night before for a quick breakfast option.
Experiment with toppings like fruits or nuts for added flavor.
