Description

These Make Ahead Crockpot Mashed Potatoes are rich and creamy, filled with garlic flavor and perfect for quick dinners. The easy prep means less time in the kitchen and more time enjoying comfort food with family!


Ingredients

  • 12 potatoes
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • milk to desired consistency

Instructions

  1. Wash the potatoes and place them in a large crock pot with the skin on.
  2. Add the whole garlic cloves and chicken broth into the pot.
  3. Cook on high for 3-4 hours, or low for 4-5 hours, until the potatoes are fork-tender.
  4. Incorporate sour cream, butter, salt, pepper, and oregano, mashing with a potato masher as you mix.
  5. Stir in milk gradually until the mashed potatoes reach your preferred consistency. Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper to taste.

Ensure potatoes are thoroughly washed to remove any dirt.
