- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tbsp lemon zest

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Line a 9×13 pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix together butter, sugar, and vanilla for the crust.
- Stir in flour until well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared pan and bake for 15-20 minutes until the edges are light brown.
- In a large bowl, add sugar and flour and whisk to remove any lumps.
- Add eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice, whisking until completely mixed.
- Pour the lemon filling over the warm crust and bake for 30-35 minutes until the center is set and does not jiggle.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely at room temperature. After cooling, refrigerate the lemon bars.
- Before serving, dust with powdered sugar.
