Description

This Horchata Latte (Hot or Iced!) features a delicious blend of sweet rice milk, aromatic cinnamon, and rich vanilla. Perfect for a quick, refreshing beverage, it’s an easy homemade delight you’ll love any time!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of rice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Ice (for iced version)

Instructions

  1. Soak rice in water overnight.
  2. In a blender, combine soaked rice, cinnamon stick, and water; blend until smooth.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher.
  4. Stir in milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  5. Serve hot or over ice for the iced version.

Notes

You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to taste.
For a vegan option, substitute regular milk with almond or oat milk.
