Description

These Grilled Shrimp Skewers deliver irresistible flavors with minimal effort. Fresh shrimp marinated in garlic and lemon make this dish a go-to for quick dinners or healthy gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tail on
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice from 1 lemon, about 3 Tablespoons of juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground or cracked pepper
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Combine garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
  2. Add the shrimp and toss everything together. Allow it to marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  3. Thread the shrimp onto metal or soaked wooden skewers, discarding any leftover marinade.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Cook the shrimp on the grill for about 2 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque.
  5. Remove from the grill and serve hot, optionally with lemon wedges.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the shrimp marinate for the full hour.
Use soaked wooden skewers to prevent burning on the grill.
Pair the skewers with a fresh salad or grilled veggies for a complete meal.
