- 1/4 tsp oil, if using a griddle pan (optional)
- 30 g butter or dairy free alternative (plain, herb, garlic, chilli, dulse, etc.)
- Seasoning of choice (salt, pepper, herbs, chilli flakes, etc.)
Instructions
- Prepare all butters and seasonings in advance, using suggested ingredients.
- If corn has husk, peel it back and remove silk and tassels for clean kernels.
- Pre-heat barbecue, grill, or griddle pan to high heat.
- Lightly brush a griddle pan with oil if using, or directly place corn on the BBQ or grill.
- Place the corn cobs on the barbecue grill or in the griddle pan.
- Turn corn frequently until it turns a deeper yellow, stays juicy, and has slight charring, cooking for about 8-10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve hot, seasoned with butter and preferred seasonings.
