Description

  • 3 pounds chicken wings party style
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon parsley leaves chopped, plus more for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon thyme leaves chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken wings in a bowl or resealable gallon-sized bag.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together olive oil, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, lemon zest, parsley, thyme, salt, pepper, and garlic.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken wings. Marinate for at least 1 hour, or up to 8 hours.
  4. Preheat an outdoor grill or indoor grill pan to medium heat.
  5. Place the chicken wings on the grill, cooking for 10 minutes per side and turning occasionally to prevent burning.
  6. Remove the wings from the grill, garnish with more chopped parsley, and serve.

Notes

Marinating the wings for longer intensifies the flavor.
These wings can be baked in an oven if grilling isn’t an option.
Adjust the seasoning to your taste for extra zest.
