Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (14-ounce) bag coleslaw mix
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 3/4 teaspoon celery seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the coleslaw mix and sliced green onions. Toss briefly to mix.
- In another bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, dijon mustard, celery seeds, sea salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the coleslaw mixture and toss until everything is evenly coated.
- Cover the coleslaw and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld and the cabbage to soften slightly.
- Before serving, give the slaw a toss and taste. Adjust seasoning with more salt, pepper, or vinegar if needed.
Notes
Feel free to add other vegetables like shredded carrots or bell peppers for added crunch.
This coleslaw can be made a day ahead for even better flavor!
