Description

These caramelized figs offer an irresistible flavor with honey and thyme, served over creamy Greek yogurt—perfect for a quick dessert or healthy snack!


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 4-inch sprig thyme
  • 3 large figs, cut in half
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 ounces greek yogurt, plain or vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons pistachios, toasted

Instructions

  1. Heat a medium skillet over medium-low heat and add the honey and thyme leaves.
  2. Cook for about 1 minute, then place the fig halves cut-side down into the honey.
  3. Caramelize the figs for 2-3 minutes, then flip using tongs and sauté for another 2 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Serve the caramelized figs over Greek yogurt, drizzling with thyme honey and sprinkling toasted pistachios on top.

Notes

Adjust honey according to your sweetness preference.
For added flavor, try using different herbs like rosemary or mint.
