Description

These Caramel Rice Krispie Treats combine the rich flavor of caramel and marshmallows with crunchy Rice Krispies. Perfect for a quick dessert or snack!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (11 oz) bag Kraft Caramels, Unwrapped
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 7 1/2 cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 7 cups Rice Krispies Cereal

Instructions

  1. Spray a 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray and set it aside.
  2. Unwrap the caramels and set 10 aside.
  3. Melt the remaining caramels in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  4. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat, then remove from heat once melted.
  5. Stir in the melted caramel and 5 1/2 cups mini marshmallows until almost combined.
  6. Mix in the Rice Krispies and fold in the remaining 2 cups of mini marshmallows once combined.
  7. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  8. Melt the remaining 10 caramels in the microwave, stirring until smooth.
  9. Drizzle the melted caramels over the top of the treats.
  10. Let cool and cut into squares.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
For added flavor, sprinkle a little sea salt on top before it cools.
You can substitute with chocolate chips for a different flavor.
