Description

These Apple Cider Jello Shots are a fun and tasty treat, featuring the delightful flavors of apple cider and Fireball whiskey. Easy to make, they’re perfect for gatherings as a playful dessert or party snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup hot apple cider
  • ⅔ cup fireball whiskey
  • ⅓ cup cold apple cider
  • 2 packets unflavored gelatin (0.25 ounces each)
  • whipped cream (optional garnish)
  • red apple slices (optional garnish)
  • cinnamon sugar (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, pour in the cold apple cider and sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over the top. Stir gently to moisten the gelatin.
  2. Allow the mixture to rest for about 3 minutes for the gelatin to bloom.
  3. Pour in the hot apple cider and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Mix in the Fireball whiskey until combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into shot cups, filling each about ¾ full.
  6. Refrigerate the shot cups for at least 2 hours, until fully set.
  7. Before serving, garnish with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar, and a thin apple slice.

Notes

Make sure to let the gelatin bloom properly for the best texture.
You can adjust the amount of Fireball whiskey to your taste preference.
These shots can be made a day in advance for easy party preparation.
