- 1.5 pounds salmon fillets boneless, skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- chili crisp oil (optional)
- toasted sesame seeds (optional)
- sliced green onion (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, add the salmon pieces.
- Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix together cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, and brown sugar.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the salmon and gently toss until all pieces are evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
- Remove the salmon bites from the air fryer and drizzle with chili crisp oil if desired.
- Serve immediately, garnished with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions.

Ensure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket to allow even cooking.
