Description

These Ground Beef Tacos are a delightful choice for a quick dinner, featuring a savory blend of spices and fresh toppings. Experience homemade taco goodness with minimal effort!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 8 taco-size corn or flour tortillas
  • toppings: shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, avocado

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown the ground beef, using a spatula to crumble it as it cooks.
  • If needed, drain any excess grease from the skillet.
  • Lower the heat to medium and mix in chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, oregano, salt, black pepper, tomato sauce, and water. Stir the ingredients together thoroughly.
  • Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the meat is fully cooked and the flavors are combined.
  • Spoon the beef mixture into warmed tortillas and add your preferred toppings.

Notes

Feel free to substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
Customize your toppings to include jalapeños, salsa, or cilantro for added flavor.
