- 1 1/2 ounces homemade sweet and sour mix
- 3/4 ounce orange liqueur (cointreau or triple sec)

- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 5 – 7 small limes)
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 medium lemons)
Instructions
- Simmer the water and sugar in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves to create a syrup, then allow it to cool.
- Stir the fresh lime and lemon juice into the cooled syrup to make the sweet and sour mix.
- Prepare the glass by rimming it with lime juice and kosher salt, then fill it with ice.
- Shake the añejo tequila, sweet and sour mix, and orange liqueur in a shaker with ice until chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over the ice and garnish with a lime wedge.
