Description

This Banana Bread Re is a delightful blend of whole wheat flour, ripe bananas, and sugar-free applesauce, creating an irresistible flavor and simplicity that’s perfect for home baking lovers.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sugar-free applesauce
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 3 overripe bananas, mashed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9 x 5 bread pan with non-stick spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix 2 cups of whole wheat flour, 1 tsp baking soda, and 1/4 tsp salt.
  3. In a separate small bowl, blend 1 cup of sugar-free applesauce with 1 tsp baking powder. Incorporate 3/4 cup of honey and 3 mashed bananas into the mixture.
  4. Combine the banana mixture with the dry ingredients until just blended.
  5. Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
